No doubt you have heard by now of the “war on women,” but it’s not all about  contraceptives and abortion. It’s also about women’s economic opportunity.

Two programs designed specifically to help women earn wages that will bring economic security — including in good-paying occupations where  they currently are only a minority of job holders —  are on the chopping block – the Women’s Bureau and the Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) program. Both the President’s budget and legislation introduced by Rep.
